SportsMast Mounting Options:

Integral Tripod

The Integral Tripod is available on the following SportsMasts. It is quick and easy to operated and has a specific locking mechanism and easy to work height adjustable legs or upgrade tripod wheel set.

SportsMast 66 (6 metre)
SportsMast 80 (6 metre)
SportsMast 101 (7.5m, 9m and the new 10.5m)

Separate Tripod

The separate tripod is fully collapsible and height adjustable and includes a fully zinc plated collapsible SportsMast mounting post.

The separate tripod can be used with any of our SportsMasts but is generally used with the following models:

SportsMast 101 (12.5m, 15m, 17m)

1m High Tripod Extension Legs

These additional 1 metre high tripod legs are useful when deploying a tripod on embankments or very uneven ground.

They can also be used to form a safe working environment by using danger indication tape around the top of the legs at waist height. This is very important when using a tripod in public areas when the tripod legs can be a trip hazard.

Lockable and Height Adjustable Tripod Wheel System

The lockable and height adjustable tripod wheel legs can be used if you want to be able to move the SportsMast easily across a pitch, court or area. They work well on all different types of surface.

The locking mechanism keeps the SportsMast secure when it has been elevated.

They are easy to take on an off of the SportsMast and can be left on the integral tripod permanently if required.

Separate Tripod and Drive on Mount Combination Package

If you are ordering a portable SportsMast and separate tripod and intend to use it in a public place (at a tournament or event for example), we would strongly advise our tripod / drive on combo. The tripod occupies a large area and can be a trip hazard if not managed correctly. Using a ‘Drive on SportsMast Mount’ will occupy a much smaller area. The ‘drive on mount’ will also accommodate SportsMasts with integral tripods. The tripod / drive on combo comes with one quick-release mounting post that fits both items.

Drive on Vehicle Support System

The fully adjustable drive on vehicle mounting system is ideal when the tow hitch use is not convenient. Simply, drive on using front or rear wheel. The mounting post can be adjusted forward, rearwards and side to side to allow level deployment of the mast. Fully zinc coated and strong steel construction. It will accommodate all SportsMasts, including those with integral tripods like the SportsMast 66, SportsMast 80, SportsMast 101 (7.5m, 9m and 10.5m)

Tow Hitch Vehicle Mounting System

Available for SportsMasts up to 115mm diameter. The universal vehicle mounting system attaches to the tow hitch of any vehicle. It is fully adjustable for vertical deployment of the SportsMast when parked on uneven ground. As a means of rapid deployment the vehicle mount is outstanding, minimising set up time and increasing productivity. A great product for those clubs that have large training grounds etc with multiple pitches.

Wall Mounting Bracket

A simple wall mounting bracket which enables for a SportsMast to be mounted on to a wall. You may need a couple of these to support the SportsMast at the top and the bottom.

Upper & Lower Wall Mounting Brackets - Spacer Brackets

Commonly used for fixing a SportsMast to a building, container or structure and when a space between the SportsMast and the wall is required to allow for protrusions such as soffits and gutters.

They are available for all SportsMast diameters and can be rapidly produced as special items to suit the fixing location. Fully zinc coated and very strong. They also can have a quick release clamp for rapid removal of the SportsMast.

SportsMast Carrying Handle

Available for all SportsMast’s but is more advisable for use with the bigger SportsMast 101 (12m, 15m and 17m). The handle doubles up as the upper mounting bracket when used on a separate tripod.

Quick Release SportsMast Fixing Brackets

These brackets are available for the SportsMast 66, 80 and 101 range and are the perfect solution when you want to retro fit a SportMast to a pillar or post as a temporary or semi-permanent installation.

SportsMast Base Fixing Brackets

This bracket is commonly used for fixing the base of a SportsMast to a vertical surface. The bracket is a strong zinc plated steel construction and pre-drilled for easy installation. Available for the SportsMast 66, 80 and 101 range.

The Buggy System

Available for all of the SportsMast range but mainly for the larger SportsMasts that range from 10.5m to 17m.

The buggy system makes it so much easier to transport the large SportsMasts around and the unique pivoting “V” support brackets make mounting single or multiple cameras on top of the SportsMast a simple process.

The buggy system is the perfect accessory for those teams and clubs who use the Portable PanoField Solution which requires the SportsMast 101 (12.5m).

Laptop Shelf and Undertray (sold separately)

Our bespoke Laptop Shelf can take a Laptop or Apple Mac up to 17”. Its unique design and lightweight yet very strong silver powder coated aluminium construction is the perfect accessory when you are filming. The Undertray can be retro fitted and acts as a secondary storage shelf for other equipment or a place to put the joystick control. The holes on the laptop shelf and undertray provide easy access for plugging in cables etc. (To weatherproof your Laptop or Apple Mac please see our main Laptop Rain Cover pages). Both items are secured to the SportsMast with a purpose built mounting spigot.
