Mobile Display Unit (MDU)

The “Sports MDU” comprises of a fully weather-proof, robust and sun-readable 32” or 42” lcd screen that is mounted on an electronic galvanised lift inside a weatherproof Sports case. The Sport MDU comes with lockable all terrain deep tread pneumatic wheels that will travel over any type of surface whether inside or outside, wet, muddy or dry. It boast two weather-proof speakers and amp (can be increase to four speakers), transportation rollers for easy storage on a plane, coach or van, two laptop shelves with weatherproof covers for Laptop/MAC, weather-proof cabling for connection to a laptop or MAC, ipod or MP3 device. The unit can be powered via standard mains, inverter or battery pack.

Pitch-side pool-side court-side

This Sports MDU can be used in any location inside or outside as a visual aid. It could be used in the middle and the side of the pitch as a video and tactics review system for the players and coaches or it could be courtside or pool side in the same capacity. For example the British Lions took a 42” Sports MDU on their last tour to South Africa in 2009. The unit travelled everywhere with them on the aircrafts and coaches etc. Other clients that use this product include the Welsh Rugby Union, England Cricket, Blackburn Rovers, Middlesbrough Football Club and London Irish Rugby Club.

Pitchside Video Analysis with Telescopic Mast

The MDU could be used for any sport where they want to have immediate review of footage or tactics boards for players and coaches and it can be used at events and tournaments. It will also integrate fully with the standalone Hi Cam Filming System or we have the capability of installing a Hi Cam telescopic mast into the MDU giving you the ultimate system for filming and live review on a big screen.
