The Hi Cam portable and telescopic filming system is the perfect mobile solution for use with Video and Performance Analysis within the Sports and Education Markets. It can work as a completely stand alone solution whereby video footage can be captured straight to the camcorder, a PC, Apple Mac or external hard drive plus it works seamlessly and integrates with any Video Analysis Software such as Prozone, Sportscode, Dartfish, Gamebreaker etc.

The Hi Cam comprises of a portable telescopic mast available with variable heights between 5 to 10 metres with integrated tripod (separate tripod for 15m version) and all terrain lockable wheel system with height adjustable legs for uneven ground. A video camera/camcorder up to the size of a broadcast video camera can be fixed into the extra thick top mounting section of the mast with a 360 degree automatic pan and tilt power head and an extra 15 degree tilt correction plate or ball adaptor head. Within our cable set we provide a variety of video cables that will connected to the camcorder and then to the laptop, Apple MAC or Canopus box which sits on a bespoke shelf with weatherproof cover. We have an optional tray accessory that clips to the laptop shelf giving extra storage space below with an additional weatherproof cover to fit over both items.

Lanc contol cables connected to the camcorder allows the record, zoom and focus functions of the camcorder to be operated and the pan and tilt head is controlled by its own remote device. The user can then see everything on his Laptop/MAC screen of what is going on through the camcorder and has complete control over it. This gives the operator the capability of live coding or simply capturing the footage to the hard drive.

We have a 3 metre lateral extender that extends out horizontally from the top of the mast. This optional extra enables you to take video footage directly above a scenario and have a complete birds eye view. For example over the top of a shooter, archer, jumper, a scrum, lineout or hooker throwing in, a goalkeeper, a player taking a kick, a bowler, batsman or wicket keeper etc etc. Utilising a variety of adaptors we can even mount two or more camcorders on top of the mast so separate scenarios, events and areas can be filmed at the same time.

The Hi Cam system is robust and easy to operate and can be set up and running in under five minutes and be taken down in the same time frame. The Hi Cam comes in a weatherproof case and a weatherproof case is also provided for the accessories. You will also be able to fit your camcorder and laptop/mac into the accessory bag as well.

Our 6 metre Hi Cam has a retracted height of only 1.46 metres and extends to 6 metres. It is only 28 kilograms in weight which keeps it completely aircraft compliant and it will fit into the boot of a standard car with the sits down an estate car, van or bus.

Hi Cam Fast Mast

This system is a roof rack mountable solution for a van or 4x4. The mast is stored away in a secure, lockable and hinged purpose built aluminium roof box with roof rack roller system. This enables the mast to be fluidly rolled back and pivoted vertically onto the rear tow hitch assembly. This unique system allows individuals to set it up easily and film from outside or inside the vehicle. It is a perfect solution for training grounds and away matches etc where it is sometimes difficult to get an elevated position. The Hi Cam Fast Mast can go up to an amazing 17 metres. All of the accessories and cables are the same as with the portable Hi Cam system.
